Although studies show that women tend to outperform men in investing, only 26% of women in the US invest in the stock market, and only 9% believe they are better investors than men.
This lack of confidence is concerning, especially considering that women in the US and Canada feel less financially stable than men. However, evidence suggests that women’s investments have performed better than those managed by men, even during times of market drawdowns.
Additionally, female fund managers tend to take less risk than their male counterparts during times of stress while achieving similar levels of performance.
